This revolutionary system allows you to control your window coverings with the touch of a button, voice command, or even automate them to adjust according to your daily schedule. In this post, we’re excited to introduce you to the incredible features and benefits of PowerView® Automated Shades, now available to our clients in Winnipeg and beyond. *Watch the video below to see PowerView® Automation in action:* ![](https://play.vidyard.com/2tdpf4SSxfJNff1sNUemAN.jpg) ### What is PowerView® Automation? PowerView® Automation is a smart system that gives you complete control over your window shades, allowing you to adjust them with ease and precision. Whether you want to let in the morning light, create the perfect ambiance for movie night, or enhance your home's energy efficiency, PowerView® makes it possible—all from your smartphone, tablet, or the PowerView® Pebble® Remote. ### Key Features of PowerView® Automation #### 1. **Customizable Schedules** PowerView® allows you to create personalized schedules for your shades to move automatically throughout the day, based on your daily routines. Imagine waking up to the gentle opening of your bedroom shades, or having them close automatically as the sun sets, ensuring your privacy and comfort. #### 2. **Voice Control Integration** For the ultimate in convenience, PowerView® integrates seamlessly with popular smart home systems like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit. Simply use voice commands to adjust your shades without lifting a finger—perfect for busy mornings or when you’re entertaining guests. #### 3. **Remote Access** Whether you're at home or on the go, you can control your shades from anywhere in the world using the PowerView® App. This feature is especially useful for managing energy efficiency while you're away, ensuring your home remains cool in the summer and warm in the winter by adjusting the shades accordingly. #### 4. **Scene Control** Create and activate customized "Scenes" that adjust multiple shades to your preferred positions with a single tap. For example, set a "Good Morning" scene that opens the shades in the living room while keeping the bedroom shades closed for a bit more rest. ### Why Choose PowerView® Automated Shades? #### **Enhanced Comfort and Convenience** With PowerView® Automation, you can effortlessly control the natural light in your home, reduce glare, and protect your furnishings from UV rays. The ability to program your shades to move automatically means you can create the perfect environment at any time of day, without manual adjustments. #### **Energy Efficiency** Automated shades help you manage your home’s energy use more efficiently. By programming your shades to open during the winter days to let in warmth and close during the summer to block out heat, you can reduce your reliance on heating and cooling systems, potentially lowering your energy bills. #### **Safety and Security** PowerView® Automation adds an extra layer of security to your home by allowing you to control the visibility into your space. Schedule your shades to open and close at different times, giving the appearance that someone is always home, even when you’re away. ### Why BMD Materials?
